My Little Trick!

Hey guys! While at the pool I discovered a little trick that I am sure most of you don't know about! So anyway, since it is summer, I am sure that all of us are swimming in a beach, lake, or a pool. Now this can be hard on your makeup. For me, I don't wear waterproof mascara every single day because it is a pain to get off. So I didn't wear waterproof mascara today, and my friend and I went swimming. Of course I got a little of a raccoon eye, but it wasn't too bad. Anyway my little trick is, if you discover that you have raccoon eyes, or mascara on your eye lid, just take a little bit of vaseline : 

or petroleum jelly (they are the same) and rub it wear your extra mascara is. It will literally take all of your extra mascara away, and waalaaaa! No more raccoon eyes! I discovered this while at the pool today and I think it will help a lot of us girls over the summer!

My Blog...

Hey girls! So I just spent an hour redo-ing my blog....hopefully you noticed (or are noticing now) the different font, the tabs, all that good stuff :) please tell me if you like it better, or give me any suggestions on how you think I can make it better. I am open to any suggestions, and I am not quite sure myself if I love it yet. I definitely know that I like the tabs, but I am not sure if I love the new font for the text. I changed it because I am doing this at 10:00 and the font kind of hurt my eyes and thats not good. Plus I like this font :)
Maybe it will grow on me?! I'll give it a few days and I ask you to do the same, and give me your feedback on how you like it. Thank you sooo much!

OOTD! 6/26/11

Hey so I don't think that I have done an outfit of the day on my blog yet, so I thought I would! But a few things first: so I just want to say that I didn't show my face because it wouldn't fit in to the photo. Next, I am about to redo my room, thats why everything is a little messy, and thats why my room looks really childish, thats because it is (was). Lastly, there are no sheets on my bed, and my bed is not made because my sheets are downstairs being washed, and my blankets are on my floor :) With that in mind, lets get started!

My Outfit: Full Body View

So keeping in mind what you just read above, this is my outfit today! I really like this outfit, and I think the sweater adds a pretty pop of color. Oh and I get the paint for my room this week! Ah!!! But back to the outfit of the day...

My tank top and cardigan

Alright! Now were really going into detail! So yeahh, I really love this tank top, I got it a while ago from Abercrombie. It has a little v-neck, and a really pretty lace type of detailing on the neckline. After that it drops into a more flowy kind of top! And then my cardigan, which is coral, is from H&M. I think it goes well with my outfit because it adds a bright pop of color, which is perfect for summer :)

Last item! So these are my shorts. I got them from TJMaxx. I love these shorts. I have quite a few pairs of shorts, but these are my favorite dark-wash ones! I don't really have anything else to say about them...

HAUL!

I have a haul today!!!!!!! yayy! haha so yes I do have a haul and it is kind of a collective haul because I did not purchase everything on one day. So here we go!

Alright. First for Bath and Body Works. They were have a HUGE sale! I mean pretty much everything was 50-75% off! I only got two things, and I am not sure if I like one of them.

Coconut Lime Verbena Full-Size Lotion

Okay so this is the first thing that I got, and it is the one where I'm not sure if I like it or not. I have never been a big fan of coconut but when I smelled this in the store, it smelled of the lime and just kind of a beachy smell. But when I got home and smelled it, I smelled a lot more coconut. I still like the lime in it but I am not sure what I am going to do. I haven't used it yet so should I gift it away to a friend? or should I use it on my legs and deal with the smell? Please comment and tell me what I should do :)

Dark Kiss Travel-Size Lotion

So this is the next thing that I got, and it is travel size. Sorry that I do not have the sale prices for these, I lost the receipt. Anyway, I got the travel size for this because I have the body spray and I love this scent! Also, now I can layer this scent!

So that was all for B&BW, I should have the prices for everything else now. I am super sorry about that!!!! I know their original prices but I forgot their sale prices. :( Anyway! The next store is Sephora! So I don't leave super close to a sephora but I found a mini one in the JC Penny at my mall. Now sadly this mini sephora does not carry mac products. :( So I need to find somewhere else to buy those. Anyway here is what I got from Sephora! :

Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Fame

Okay so I have been wanting a Smashbox Lip gloss for a super super long time! I finally bought it! So this is in fame, it is $18, and I love this lip gloss because you can do a super bold hot pink lip, or a cute light pink lip. I also love this because it has the sponge applicator. I was going to get one that was a brush, but then I found this one!

So that is all for sephora, now on to Victoria Secret! So I caught the end of their Semi-Annual sale, But they were still having some pretty good deals.

Noir Summer

So this is the Sexy little things Noir Summer (Limited Edition) and it was $25 (not on sale). I love the noir tease, hate the regular noir, but love the noir summer!!!!! I had to buy this scent and since it was limited edition, I just bought the big size. 

So the next thing I can't find pictures for but I got 4 pairs of the Victoria secret hipster underwear. They were on sale for $3.99 and they are normally $10.50! One is purple and says gorgeous on the butt, one is  neon yellow and says love pink on the butt, one is hot pink and says surf pink on the butt, and the last one is black and says love pink all over the front. If you wonder why I am telling you this, that is because this is a haul, and I have to share everything I got. right? okay. 

Now for Tillys:

So I got two shirts from tillys, but if you don't know what tillys is,  it is kind of like a pacsun or just kind of a beachy store like that. 

Alright so I got this Tribal-y Crop top from tilly's for $27.99. As you can tell it does have a tribal inspired pattern, and a little v-neck, and a type of angel-winged sleeves. I really like this as a crop top. Super cute :)

Alright so the last thing I got from tillys was this tank top. It was part of their sizzlin' hot summer sale so I only got it for $8.99. This is also a crop top, but the picture doesn't show it very well. It is one of those crop tops that is shorter in the front, and longer in the back. 

Almost done! Now were at Ulta.

Rimmel London Recovery Anti-Fatigue Concealer

Okay so I got this concealer from Ulta in the shade 100 Ivory. I am more tan than that, and normally need a darker color, but this matches and blends into my skin very well. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the best part: I got this in the sale section at Ulta! So this concealer was originally about $5 to $7 or something, but I got it for $2! I really like it so far (the one time that I have used it) and will be doing a review on it soon. 

Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes  (10 pack)

So this is the last thing that I bought from ulta and it caught my eye right before I checked out. This is the  10 (travel) pack, $3, and not only do they remove all of your make-up, but they nourish and moisturize your skin as well! I have used to towelettes so far and I have to say that although the cucumber scent is a little strong for me, I love these towelettes because they work so well!

Alright so that was my haul, and I know that you are going to say that I go shopping way too much, and I am going to agree with you :) I do go shopping a lot, but I pay for EVERYTHING with my own money! Keep commenting and subscribing!!!

My Latest Obsessions :)

Okay so basically I  just wanted to share my latest obsession with you guys! Theres a few so we better get started!

Smart Water

Okay so I was at Henry's yesterday with my mom and I saw smart water. I knew that I had to have it! I always see people drinking it and it seemed so mysterious so I had to try it! Mines about half gone and to me it tastes almost like regular water. But I love the bottles :) It cost about 1 dollar. (I think)

Smashbox lip gloss in Fame

So this is my Smashbox lipgloss in Fame (it will be featured in a haul coming up :) ) But I have literally been using this every day since I got it and it costs $18. I was going to get another one which was like a light pink, but I am not a big fan of lipglosses where you apply it with a brush. So I got the sponge tip instead. this color is perfect for the pink lip :)

Panera! :)

Alright so another one of my obsessions has been Panera Bread. It is like totally AMAZINGGG! (Im actually going there at noon today with a friend :) ) I order the same thing every time which is a : Broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl (or regular bowl, that varies) but I have never been a fan of broccoli, and I still am not but literally this soup is like the best soup I have ever had. (DIP YOUR BREAD IN IT! it tastes amazing) So yeah. and it only costs like 4 dollars!

MINTS!

Alright so this is the last obsession that I am going to share with you today. This one is the Life Savers Mints in Wint o Green. I buy these in the bag shown above, and they are individually wrapped like this:

So all of the mints come individually wrapped and they taste delicious. They are actually quite big in size for mints. I definitley recommend trying these. My favorite flavor is the Wintergreen. (the green one)

Disneyland Haul! (Kind of)

Okay so about a week ago for our second to last day of school, everyone went on a field trip to disneyland. It was super fun because they let us run wild around the park (literally). We were there from about 10-ish to 6 and I think we went on every single ride possible. Ah it was so much fun! Anyway the reason why I am telling you this is because I bought a few things from some stores there and I figured you guys would like to know! So let me show you what I got!

Thing 1 Tee Shirt!

Okay so the first thing I got was this thing 1 tee shirt. Obviously I'm not gonna randomly wear it if you know what I mean, but I got the thing 1 shirt and my friend got the thing 2 shirt so now it is like our little inside joke. Also it is super comfortable :) Making a great pajama shirt!

Alright so the next thing I got was this I <3 Prince Charming bracelet. (It's all one bracelet) I thought this was super cute! It is the material of one of those I <3 boobies bracelets except its pink! Both me and my other friend got this one. I don't know, I found it while I was checking out and I knew that I had to have it :)

And lastly I got this BFF Necklace. I think it is so cute because it says bff and then it has the little mickey head in (fake) crystals and the underline detailing! Actually the whole group of friends that I was with ended up buying this necklace because it would make the trip more memorable, and we all became super close at disneyland!

NOTD: 6/22/11

**First of all, I fixed it! Well not really, but after I published the previous post I tried again and it worked! haha so never mind...**

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to share the nails that I have been sporting for the past week, so if you are ready, then lets get started!

My Nails! :)

So as you guys can tell, I have done a more sophisticated nail (it's still really easy!) this week!  Alright so for a base coat I have on OPI Sparrow Me The Drama from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I think this is such a pretty pink. :)

I love this bright cheery yellow! I think it could just cheer up your whole day! (Unless it's so bright it hurts your eyes!)

Alright and lastly for the little detail around the spots, I have OPI Black Onyx. It is like a straight-up black so I normally don't paint my nails this solid color.

I purchased all of these from Ulta and these are $8.50. I have to purchase these by myself, with my own money, and if these are a little too expensive for you, I am positive that there are dupes that look almost exactly the same. The reason why I always go back to OPI is that I love their colors and I love their brushes and how easy it is to apply the nail polish!

Review: Benefit Erase Paste Concealer

Hey guys, so today I have a little review for you. Since this is my first review ever, it may not be that fantastic, but please stay with me and I'm sure that I'll be of some help!  Lets get started!!!

Benefit Erase Paste Concealer

     Alright so my review today is on the Benefit Erase Paste Concealer. In this concealer, I am shade no. 2, or medium.
     I bought this concealer from Ulta for $26.00. At the time I had been using the Studio Gear Concealer, and I felt that I was ready for a more high-end concealer. So naturally, I was walking toward the benefit and too faced wall, when this round container of erase paste caught my eye. I have heard plenty of people rave about this concealer, but i thought it was weird because I had only seen the packages of concealer where you apply them directly on your face. Anyway I decided to buy it, and it came with a little spatula! Ah! so cute!
     I personally love this concealer because it has more of a creamy, thick formula than most other concealers. I generally use this under my eyes and wherever I am having a problem spot. I love this concealer for under my eyes because its creamy consistency covers up my under eye circles real well, and it it doesn't look cakey. That being said, I do not have wrinkles under my eyes, or dry under eye circles, if you have one or both of those, chances are this concealer wont work well for you.
     I also use this on problem areas because it covers up all redness. Of course, your pimples are still going to be there, but with this concealer, it almost camouflages them.
    Additionally, I have learned from using this concealer, that after you first apply it, you can still tell that you applied it, giving your skin the "cakey" effect. But if you wait a little while, then it blends into your skin and you can't tell. So if you aren't immediately satisfied with how it looks, check again in a few minutes.
     Overall, this concealer works great for my type of skin, and I would definitely recommend this item.

** Also, the concealer comes with a spatula so you don't have to touch your concealer with your fingers, and it comes with a little booklet telling you how to best apply the Benefit Concealer**

Ulta, Urban Outfitters, and Victoria Secret HAUL!

AH! SORRY THAT I HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MIA LATELY. But anyway, today was my last day of school so you know what that means....a lot more posts coming up! So anyway, from the poll that I had on my blog, Hauls had the most votes. So I have a haul for you today!

Urban Outfitters nail polish in Cocktail

Alright so sorry for the bad picture, i couldn't find the color on the internet. But this is all I got from urban outfitters and it was $5. There was a sale for 2 for $8 so me and my friend each got one. Coral is going to be one of the big colors for summer and so this is a great polish to get!

Pure Seduction Body Cream from Victoria Secret

So this is originally $9.50, I am pretty sure, and they were having a 10 for $40 deal (I already explained this in another video) but anyway for me, this was technically $4.

Now the rest is from ulta so here we go:

One by One Maybelline Mascara (Waterproof)

So the first thing I purchased from ulta was the WATERPROOF one by one mascara. I got waterproof because it is now the summer and i go to the beach/pool every single day so i need a waterproof mascara. Also, I wanted a good quality mascara so i got this one. I also have the falsies and love that one as well. This mascara was $8.

Rimmel London Blush in 021 Summer Fever

Next thing I got was this rimmel london blush which was on sale for $2.49 in their sale bin. I have to say that after using this every day for like a week, I really like it! I would definitley invest in this!

So I got both of these brushes from studio basics. It is the eye blending and smudging brush (2 in 1 brush), and the kabuki brush. I LOVE THESE BRUSHES! I have been using them for the past week and they are amazing! I am not quite sure of the prices anymore, but whatever it is, they are totally worth it!

DKNY Green and Pink Apple Rollerball Perfume

So this next thing is the DKNY double roller ball perfume. This has the green apple on one side and the pink apple on the other. It is limited edition though so u better get it! What I love most about this is that it gives you the amount of perfume of a regular roller ball in each. and it costs the price of 1! (this cost $20)

Too Faced Naked Eyeshadow Palette

Next is the Too Faced Naked Eye Palette for $35. This is a great palette and i will do a tutorial on an amazing eye look i created with it, but in truth i meant to pick up the natural eye palette but accidentally picked this one. oops. But this is still an amazing palette! dont get me wrong, i love this too!

So that just about wraps up my haul...i didn't get too much stuff. but I just wanted to give you guys a post. I am so sorry that I haven't posted in a week. It did not feel like that long. Anyway I am now on summer so you can expect about an average of 1 post per day. (I hope!)

Whats in my beach bag?

*** First of all, sorry that I did not post a blog yesterday, things got really hectic and I just didn't have the time. So I will make up for it by doing multiple blogs today***

Hey so I wanted to do a little blog today showing you what I carry in my beach bag. Since I live in cali, during the summer, I am at the beach like EVERY day. So these are what I find to be my beach bag essentials when I am at the beach!

Alright, so this is my beach bag, and it literally fits everything that I try to stuff in there. It is from Victora Secret and I actually got it about a year and a half ago so I don't think it's available anymore...but yeah, the first thing you will need is a beach bag :)

I just use a crop top as a cover-up, and really any crop top will do. I don't own this one, I actually bought a shirt at my local street fair and then cropped it myself, and i think it is a lot cuter than this one....shhhh!!!!!!!!

I like to carry a book/magazine also, so right now I have the latest issue of seventeen, and I bring it incase I want to tan, or just lay on my towel and read something.

Probably the most important thing you will need is sunscreen! It is important not only to spray it on before you go, but also to spray it on while your there to ensure that you don't get burned!

Another thing you will need is rubber flip flops! I got these from aeropostale and they are still available! You want to buy the rubber flip flops because if you bring leather wants, you will never get ALL of the sand out from them, and they start rubbing against your skin and causing blisters, so get the rubber ones! (trust me, I am telling you from experience)

Alright, everybody needs lip balm! I have the eos lip balm sphere in summer fruit, AND I LOVE THIS THING! It is no hands but it is still a lip balm, and it glides on soooo smoothly and it makes your lips so smooth! I got mine at Ulta for 3.49, regular price and it is soooo worth it! I would think it would be like 7 or 8 dollars, but its not!

So the next thing I bring is perfume! I have 2 of these because they are limited edition and soooo amazing! So this is the DKNY BeDelicious perfume in the green apple and the pink apple roller ball. I got mine for $20 at ulta! and I think I might be in love with this duo! Well, not really, but I definitely love it!

So the next thing I carry is lotion, and it varies what type of lotion I bring, depending on what is my favorite of that moment, and right now it is the Pure Seduction from the secret garden collection at Victoria Secret. I got this recently with my friend and we had to buy 8 for gifts, and we each got one for ourselves because they were having a 10 for $40 deal so technically, this was only $4.

And so the last things that I bring are a detangler, I am currently using the UNITE 7-seconds leave in conditioner, it is a little expensive, but you can also use it as a heat protectant. And the official last thing I carry is a brush because you need something to brush the detangler through your hair with.

Alright thanks so much for supporting me! and i just want to mention that all the products that are up here are products THAT I OWN (minus the crop top, but I already told you that) And all of these things are paid for by myself. I know that seems crazy considering that I'm only a young-ish teenager but my mom makes me pay for everything myself (except for meals)

Almost Summer :)

Hey there! I know for most of you out there, it is already summer :) For me, as I tell you in just about every blog, that is not quite true yet. I am still in school, and will be until NEXT friday. Like, not tomorrow but the week after. So I am writing to you because I am a procrastinator and do not want to study for my part 1 of 3 math finals tomorrow. This is pretty much just an update blog because I really wanted to write to you guys but I didn't have the time to plan something out and do research and gather pictures and stuff....
    OH! the good thing is that I have turned in all of my books for the whole year so I don't have any more "super hard" homework. Which is pretty exciting :) The only sad thing is that I, like I said before, am in the midst of all my finals. This week is the worst of it so you can expect a lot of posts over the weekend, but on tuesday and wednesday I had math tests, and then on tuesday, today, and tomorrow I have history tests and then on tomorrow also is my Part 1 Math Final. I have a pretty good grade in math but I mean I am still nervousss. So keep your fingers cross and I hope I will do okay! hahahaha.
     Um sorry for the kinda boring blog. I will do a better blog tomorrow and I will post pictures of my graduation shoes which I am getting tomorrow! and that will complete my graduation dress/outfit post which I have already started....

What's On My Nails Today?

Hey girls! I thought I would do a quick NOTD (nail of the day) because I have a lot of homework and tests tomorrow :( Please take part in my poll over there -------> so I can make blogs based on what you want to see. Right now I believe hauls has the most votes, so a haul will be coming up shortly. Oh, and my May Favorites will be up soon, I am just trying to decide between products. Anyway, enough of my rambling, here is your blog :)

So, on my nails for the past week (I paint my nails every week), I have done the nail polish trend where you have a different color on your ring finger. Mine's not necessarily a different color though.

So this is Essie nail polish in Turquoise and Caicos. I was at Ulta, stocking up on my beloved OPI nail polish, and this color caught the corner of my eye. I know a lot of people who rave about this color and I didn't really get it until I was in the store. It is one of the prettiest turquoises that I have ever seen. The only issue was that the first two coats are pretty sheer, and you need a third one to even everything out. To me, this is one of the perfect spring/summer colors and will go great with anything!

So this is the color on both of my ring fingers. This color is by N.Y.C and is 105A or Starry Silver Glitter. I have had this color for a while, but am normally never one to put glitter on my nails. This color is tiny silver sparkles, with blue and pink glitter in it. At first I wasn't sure if I liked how it looked, but it really grew on me.

So basically what I did is paint the Essie Turq & Caicos on ALL of my nails, I had to use three coats. Then I let the nail polish dry and put the N.Y.C. Starry Silver Glitter on both of my ring fingers. I really love this look because it is more interesting than just a plain nail polish color, but it is not too overdone. Normally I get bored of my nailpolish color after one week, but with these sparkles on, I am getting less bored. Also, when you look at your nails, it provides more interest and is really pretty too! What I will end up trying in the future is painting my ring finger a totally different color then the rest of my nails. A little tip when doing that is to choose corresponding colors, or colors that make each other have that pop factor.

    A's, with a B here and there...so yes!

    I like all of them except for black, and red. But I love PINK!

    an occasional monster drink here and there

      YES!

      I live in cali :)  and have a pool in my back yard, so of course!

      Am I supposed to? (no, i don't)

      Studio Gear controlling interest oil regulating moisturizer


14. Do you want to get married later on in life?
      of coursee :)


15. Do you get mad easily?
      no. I am a pretty calm person

      no, Im not good with extremely scary stuff

      SPIDERS! I hate spiders and can not kill one for the life of me

      Surprisingly, no.

      I almost fell off a cliff once....

      Occasionally I'll get the coffee bean ice blend in chocolate (with coffee)

MALL HAUL!

So on Sunday, after I spent the day at the beach, I went shopping with a friend and so here is what I got:

Alright, so the first things I got were from bath and body works. I had one of those coupons that was the free signature collection item with purchase of $10. So here is the first item i bought:

So this is the Dark Kiss body mist, and I got the travel size bottle for $5. I love this scent! It is my first item from this particular line, and I will definitley invest in the lotion. They were having a deal at BBW for a 3 for $10 of the travel body mists, but I decided not to get any more.

This next product is the Shea Cashmere Hand Cream in Japanese Cherry Blossom. This product is $10 and is great for traveling and carrying in your backpack/purse. Overall, Japanese Cherry Blossom is my favorite scent from BBW and has been for a little while. Not only do I now own the hand cream, but I also have the regular body lotion, and the hand sanitizer :)

This is the Triple Moisture Body Cream in Black Amethyst. This can be purchased for $12 but since I had my free item coupon, this is the item that I got for free. Once again, this is the only product I have of this particular scent, but I will probably be repurchasing it. 

So now are the products from Victoria Secret:

So this is Noir Tease from the Sexy Little Things collection. This is my signature scent, I love it soooo much! It kind of smells like Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, but more vanilla-y ( I have them both). I purchased this bottle for $15 on sale, it is regularly $25. This is 8.4 oz but i also have the 2.5 oz travel size which i keep in my P.E. locker. I totally recommend this scent!

Now for Charlotte Russe:

I got this scarf for $9.50 and I think it is adorable! I wore it to school today! It is one of those summer scarves that don't provide much warmth, just fashion!

Alright so I got two pairs of earrings from Charlotte Russe. I got these same exact earrings, except in a light coral color instead of hot pink. This earrings are orignally $6.50, but I got 2 pairs for $8.

Alright so this is the next pair of earrings that i got, they are orignially $4 but I got the 2 for $8 deal anyway. These earrings are kind of heavy, but they match with literally EVERYTHING!

Now for Claire's:

This is the only pair of earrings that I purchased from Claire's, and they were $9. They do have a little of turquoise in them, which adds a pop of color to any outfit.

And lastly, Forever 21:

I purchased this romper from forever 21 for $11.50. This is called the Sunshine Flora Romper and it is in the cream/burgundy color. I happily realized when I got home that it has pockets! yeah! oh and also the straps and the waistline are adjustable.

The next thing I got was this braided leatherette skinny belt for $2.50. IT'S A STEAL! This belt is great because skinny belts are totally in for summer! and it complements the romper perfectly! 

If you pair the romper from forever 21, with the belt from forever 21, and a coral cardigan from H&M, it makes such a cute outfit! Ah!

Alright, so that was all for my mall haul, the grand total of all my purchases was $70.50 not including tax. FYI, I did pay for all of these items with MY OWN money, and no one elses. If you want me to do a little tip on saving money, then I will. I do realize $70 is not an extremely large amount of money, but I am currently still saving :)
