June Favorites

Wow am I late! haha it's already the 18th of July! Well I apologize for that and I promise my July favorites will be up before August 18th haha. Anyway, there is not that many this month, but lets get started! Oh and these are not in any specific order, I love them all the same!

Noir Tease

For June this was one of my favorite perfumes, (it still is) but in June I wore it all of the time. It reminds me of Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, except a little more vanilla-y. I am pretty sure you guys have already heard me rave about this before, but if you haven't...Go try it out! I promise you won't regret it.

So the next thing I have been loving is Make it or Break it. While I am waiting for the new season to come out, I am currently re-watching all of the episodes. Right now I think I am on season 1 episode 11. So I have quite a lot of episodes to watch! Anyways, I hadn't watched this show until a friend recommended it to me and I have been loving it ever since! I definitely think you should watch it! They have all the episodes on hulu. 

Conair Infiniti Curling Wand

Next is my favorite curler! During the summer I tend to curl my hair (or make it wavy) a lot and this is my favorite wand! If you want really tight pretty spirals then you can curl it the day of, but if you want really pretty waves then you can curl it the night before and sleep on it! Either way this is definitely worth the $29 that I paid for it! It also has multiple heat settings and I love the no-clamp feature.

Earrings

Alright so this next thing is very general and it is earrings. Not specifically the pair shown above, but all earrings. Studs and dangling earrings! I love wearing earrings because they help compliment your outfit and I find that I wear them more during the summer because I am not rushed in the mornings.

Vaseline

So my next and last favorite for this month is Vaseline. I love it specifically for what I mentioned in an earlier blog, and that is to wipe away your mascara in case it ran. Even if you apply it and you get some on your eyelid it works perfectly! I generally use this if I forget to put on my waterproof mascara and my mascara ends up running while I am at the pool. If you rub a little of this one, its gone! Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly work!

My Wishlist (:

Hey girls! I am back today! So I was watching t.v. earlier this morning and I found a target and office depot ad. I am currently redoing my room and my new school year is coming up fast so I just cut out things that I found that I liked. Of course theres a couple makeup products in there too! So here we go!!!!

Sorry the writing is backwards and you can't see the numbers...

Okay so I do realize that you can't see the numbers but we are going to make this work...

   1. The first thing is the green ad at the top. This is for Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds. I have been looking for earbuds besides the apple ones for a long time and so when I found these and noticed that they came in PINK! I thought I would cut them out to remind me that I needed them! and there on sale for $13!

   2. The second thing (one to the left) is a Post-it Notes Cube that contains 500 post-it notes. It seems that I am always out of post-it notes and I love these because they come mostly in pink. Plus, 500 sheets for only $3?! haha i'm sold.

   3. One more to the left is number three which is a TI-84 graphing calculator. I know I will need one for school so I figure why not just get it now right? haha. I love this particular one because it comes in pink! But i don't know if I want the pink or the blue...help me! 

   4. Okay so below the earbuds is numero 4! and number four is the L'Oreal Milliion Lashes mascara! I almost bought this at ulta, but I decided not to. So many people have raved about this and I still need to get it!

   5. To the left of the mascara is the L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge lipstick. A girl always needs more lipstick, and this one has good pigmentation! The color looks amazing and I can't wait to try it!

   6. Below the lipstick is the Room Essentials storage ottoman...First of all it comes in pink! Next, It is a comfy chair/storage unit and is on sale for $15. As you can already tell, I am sold!!

   7. Now we are into Office depot. So below the chairs is number 7 which is a locker essentials ad. I just cut this one out because I know I will be needing these cute locker accesories (:

   8. Next to that are the fashion binders. I know that the ones shown aren't very cute, but there were more and I accidentally cut them off, so I'll see if there cute!

   9. Last one! Above the binders are the Paper Pro Compact Stapler. Now I don't know if any of you guys have tried this stapler but it works like no other! But once again I am stuck at a dead end. Pink or Blue? Probably pink haha.

DIY: Drab to Fab!

Hey! Do you like the title? I came up with it myself actually ;) Anyway I do have a DIY project for all of you today! Basically, you can take your old, out of style t-shirt, and turn it in to something new! Wanna know how? Let's get started! Alright so here is what you will need:

Supplies: An old t-shirt (I had tie-dyed mine...it doesn't matter),  pencil, scissors, ruler, and tape

Okay so I know that most of us keep up with the latest fashion trends, but sometimes can't afford to buy all of the new trends (although this one is fairly inexpensive). So I figured this out and I really like the results, just keep in mind that this was my very first time doing it, so it may or may not look that great :)

Step 1: You are going to cut off the bottom of the shirt where it is hemmed. You are going to cut off just enough so that all of the bottom hem has been cut off. (about an inch of fabric) Mine is pictured below:

So this is what the shirt looks like with out the hem on the bottom (In the picture it looks basically the same)

And if your wondering what  I am talking about when I say "bottom hem" it's the thing above right there. So its just like the sewing on the bottom. Oh and on my nails is nicole by opi in play fair :)

Step 2: Tape and Cut

     So basically you are going to try the shirt on and mark where you would like your fashionable fringe to start. I did it with a pencil so it will wash out. Then once you mark it, your a going to take a peice of tape the width of your shirt and line it up where the pencil mark is....make sure its straight! If your wondering why I didn't just put a pencil line across the whole shirt, I cannot make a straight line for the life of me. Anyway, next you are going to start near the edge of the shirt and cut a line up to the tape. Then using your ruler, you are going to go about a half-inch away and cut a parallel line. It should look like this:

Step 3: The Knotting Begins

     So now begins the cool part. So basically all you do is make one knot at the base of the strand (about where the tape ends), and then make another halfway down the strand...Which looks like this:

Step 4: Repeat

    Okay so basically all your going to do now is steps 2 and 3 all around the bottom of the shirt! It is actually really easy but it will take a long time. I recommend watching tv or listening to music while you finish this project. Here are some more pictures:

My Room So Far!

Sorry for the not really real post yesterday :/ I guess you could say I've been a little out of it lately. But that is over now! Anyway, yesterday I spent most of the day researching furniture and stuff that I want for my room. Well I have found practically all of it and so I am really excited :) So last night at about 9:30 we made a quick run to Home Depot and bought some tan colored paint. I bought three shades, and before I painted them on my wall, I liked the middle color the best...

Sorry the quality isn't very good... So I painted the three samples on my wall and they came out really darkk. But I like the lightest shade a lot. My mom suggested that I should get samples of the next two lightest shades that are lighter than plateau. I think I am going to do that just so I can be sure. Anyway, here is what they look like on my wall :

Okay so this is how they look on the walls. On the walls, I like the lightest color better but I think that if I paint all four walls this color it will be too dark? That is why I might get the next two lightest shades. What do you guys think? Do you think I should paint it the lightest color (plateau)? Or get lighter colors?

Redoing My Room!

Hey Guys, so before the summer is over, I am going to redo my room! I already have a couple things picked out, but I want you guys to help me with rest! So I know I want my room to be a light tan color, and I know that I want the furniture to be a dark brown. Anyway, my favorite colors are pink, gold, purple, really anything. Happy Fourth of July!!!

Hey Girls! I just wanted to wish you and your families a happy Fourth of July! I can't believe were already in July...that means summer is like halfway over :( Anyway, what are you girls doing on this lovely day? My family hasn't quite decided yet, but I think that we may go to Old Town and celebrate there with all their festivities. Then when it gets dark, we will see our fireworks! Mission Impossible!

Okay so today I decided to go through my closet full of clothes. I know, I'm a little crazy sometimes :) But anyway my purpose today was to get rid of all of the clothes that I didn't like anymore, or didn't fit me. Since I have to pay for all my clothes myself,  it was kind of sad to see them go because I remember how much I paid for them. But I still think it's worth it. Anyway, here are all the clothes I am giving away:

Goodbye Clothes! 

So there are about maybe 20 or so pieces of clothing in that pile. I am happy that they are going to someone who truly needs them because I know that I would never wear them again. But now that I look at my closet, it seems a lot more empty. So you know what that means....Shopping Time!!!!

My Little Trick!

Hey guys! While at the pool I discovered a little trick that I am sure most of you don't know about! So anyway, since it is summer, I am sure that all of us are swimming in a beach, lake, or a pool. Now this can be hard on your makeup. For me, I don't wear waterproof mascara every single day because it is a pain to get off. So I didn't wear waterproof mascara today, and my friend and I went swimming. Of course I got a little of a raccoon eye, but it wasn't too bad. Anyway my little trick is, if you discover that you have raccoon eyes, or mascara on your eye lid, just take a little bit of vaseline : 

or petroleum jelly (they are the same) and rub it wear your extra mascara is. It will literally take all of your extra mascara away, and waalaaaa! No more raccoon eyes! I discovered this while at the pool today and I think it will help a lot of us girls over the summer!

My Blog...

Hey girls! So I just spent an hour redo-ing my blog....hopefully you noticed (or are noticing now) the different font, the tabs, all that good stuff :) please tell me if you like it better, or give me any suggestions on how you think I can make it better. I am open to any suggestions, and I am not quite sure myself if I love it yet. I definitely know that I like the tabs, but I am not sure if I love the new font for the text. I changed it because I am doing this at 10:00 and the font kind of hurt my eyes and thats not good. Plus I like this font :)
Maybe it will grow on me?! I'll give it a few days and I ask you to do the same, and give me your feedback on how you like it. Thank you sooo much!

OOTD! 6/26/11

Hey so I don't think that I have done an outfit of the day on my blog yet, so I thought I would! But a few things first: so I just want to say that I didn't show my face because it wouldn't fit in to the photo. Next, I am about to redo my room, thats why everything is a little messy, and thats why my room looks really childish, thats because it is (was). Lastly, there are no sheets on my bed, and my bed is not made because my sheets are downstairs being washed, and my blankets are on my floor :) With that in mind, lets get started!

My Outfit: Full Body View

So keeping in mind what you just read above, this is my outfit today! I really like this outfit, and I think the sweater adds a pretty pop of color. Oh and I get the paint for my room this week! Ah!!! But back to the outfit of the day...

My tank top and cardigan

Alright! Now were really going into detail! So yeahh, I really love this tank top, I got it a while ago from Abercrombie. It has a little v-neck, and a really pretty lace type of detailing on the neckline. After that it drops into a more flowy kind of top! And then my cardigan, which is coral, is from H&M. I think it goes well with my outfit because it adds a bright pop of color, which is perfect for summer :)

Last item! So these are my shorts. I got them from TJMaxx. I love these shorts. I have quite a few pairs of shorts, but these are my favorite dark-wash ones! I don't really have anything else to say about them...

HAUL!

I have a haul today!!!!!!! yayy! haha so yes I do have a haul and it is kind of a collective haul because I did not purchase everything on one day. So here we go!

Alright. First for Bath and Body Works. They were have a HUGE sale! I mean pretty much everything was 50-75% off! I only got two things, and I am not sure if I like one of them.

Coconut Lime Verbena Full-Size Lotion

Okay so this is the first thing that I got, and it is the one where I'm not sure if I like it or not. I have never been a big fan of coconut but when I smelled this in the store, it smelled of the lime and just kind of a beachy smell. But when I got home and smelled it, I smelled a lot more coconut. I still like the lime in it but I am not sure what I am going to do. I haven't used it yet so should I gift it away to a friend? or should I use it on my legs and deal with the smell? Please comment and tell me what I should do :)

Dark Kiss Travel-Size Lotion

So this is the next thing that I got, and it is travel size. Sorry that I do not have the sale prices for these, I lost the receipt. Anyway, I got the travel size for this because I have the body spray and I love this scent! Also, now I can layer this scent!

So that was all for B&BW, I should have the prices for everything else now. I am super sorry about that!!!! I know their original prices but I forgot their sale prices. :( Anyway! The next store is Sephora! So I don't leave super close to a sephora but I found a mini one in the JC Penny at my mall. Now sadly this mini sephora does not carry mac products. :( So I need to find somewhere else to buy those. Anyway here is what I got from Sephora! :

Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Fame

Okay so I have been wanting a Smashbox Lip gloss for a super super long time! I finally bought it! So this is in fame, it is $18, and I love this lip gloss because you can do a super bold hot pink lip, or a cute light pink lip. I also love this because it has the sponge applicator. I was going to get one that was a brush, but then I found this one!

So that is all for sephora, now on to Victoria Secret! So I caught the end of their Semi-Annual sale, But they were still having some pretty good deals.

Noir Summer

So this is the Sexy little things Noir Summer (Limited Edition) and it was $25 (not on sale). I love the noir tease, hate the regular noir, but love the noir summer!!!!! I had to buy this scent and since it was limited edition, I just bought the big size. 

So the next thing I can't find pictures for but I got 4 pairs of the Victoria secret hipster underwear. They were on sale for $3.99 and they are normally $10.50! One is purple and says gorgeous on the butt, one is  neon yellow and says love pink on the butt, one is hot pink and says surf pink on the butt, and the last one is black and says love pink all over the front. If you wonder why I am telling you this, that is because this is a haul, and I have to share everything I got. right? okay. 

Now for Tillys:

So I got two shirts from tillys, but if you don't know what tillys is,  it is kind of like a pacsun or just kind of a beachy store like that. 

Alright so I got this Tribal-y Crop top from tilly's for $27.99. As you can tell it does have a tribal inspired pattern, and a little v-neck, and a type of angel-winged sleeves. I really like this as a crop top. Super cute :)

Alright so the last thing I got from tillys was this tank top. It was part of their sizzlin' hot summer sale so I only got it for $8.99. This is also a crop top, but the picture doesn't show it very well. It is one of those crop tops that is shorter in the front, and longer in the back.

Rimmel London Recovery Anti-Fatigue Concealer

Okay so I got this concealer from Ulta in the shade 100 Ivory. I am more tan than that, and normally need a darker color, but this matches and blends into my skin very well. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the best part: I got this in the sale section at Ulta! So this concealer was originally about $5 to $7 or something, but I got it for $2! I really like it so far (the one time that I have used it) and will be doing a review on it soon. 

Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes  (10 pack)

So this is the last thing that I bought from ulta and it caught my eye right before I checked out. This is the  10 (travel) pack, $3, and not only do they remove all of your make-up, but they nourish and moisturize your skin as well! I have used to towelettes so far and I have to say that although the cucumber scent is a little strong for me, I love these towelettes because they work so well!

Alright so that was my haul, and I know that you are going to say that I go shopping way too much, and I am going to agree with you :) I do go shopping a lot, but I pay for EVERYTHING with my own money! Keep commenting and subscribing!!!

My Latest Obsessions :)

Okay so basically I  just wanted to share my latest obsession with you guys! Theres a few so we better get started!

Smart Water

Okay so I was at Henry's yesterday with my mom and I saw smart water. I knew that I had to have it! I always see people drinking it and it seemed so mysterious so I had to try it! Mines about half gone and to me it tastes almost like regular water. But I love the bottles :) It cost about 1 dollar. (I think)

Smashbox lip gloss in Fame

So this is my Smashbox lipgloss in Fame (it will be featured in a haul coming up :) ) But I have literally been using this every day since I got it and it costs $18. I was going to get another one which was like a light pink, but I am not a big fan of lipglosses where you apply it with a brush. So I got the sponge tip instead. this color is perfect for the pink lip :)

Panera! :)

Alright so another one of my obsessions has been Panera Bread. It is like totally AMAZINGGG! (Im actually going there at noon today with a friend :) ) I order the same thing every time which is a : Broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl (or regular bowl, that varies) but I have never been a fan of broccoli, and I still am not but literally this soup is like the best soup I have ever had. (DIP YOUR BREAD IN IT! it tastes amazing) So yeah. and it only costs like 4 dollars!

MINTS!

Alright so this is the last obsession that I am going to share with you today. This one is the Life Savers Mints in Wint o Green. I buy these in the bag shown above, and they are individually wrapped like this:

So all of the mints come individually wrapped and they taste delicious. They are actually quite big in size for mints. I definitley recommend trying these. My favorite flavor is the Wintergreen. (the green one)

Disneyland Haul! (Kind of)

Okay so about a week ago for our second to last day of school, everyone went on a field trip to disneyland. It was super fun because they let us run wild around the park (literally). We were there from about 10-ish to 6 and I think we went on every single ride possible. Ah it was so much fun! Anyway the reason why I am telling you this is because I bought a few things from some stores there and I figured you guys would like to know! So let me show you what I got!

Thing 1 Tee Shirt!

Okay so the first thing I got was this thing 1 tee shirt. Obviously I'm not gonna randomly wear it if you know what I mean, but I got the thing 1 shirt and my friend got the thing 2 shirt so now it is like our little inside joke. Also it is super comfortable :) Making a great pajama shirt!

Alright so the next thing I got was this I <3 Prince Charming bracelet. (It's all one bracelet) I thought this was super cute! It is the material of one of those I <3 boobies bracelets except its pink! Both me and my other friend got this one. I don't know, I found it while I was checking out and I knew that I had to have it :)

BFF Mickey Necklace

And lastly I got this BFF Necklace. I think it is so cute because it says bff and then it has the little mickey head in (fake) crystals and the underline detailing! Actually the whole group of friends that I was with ended up buying this necklace because it would make the trip more memorable, and we all became super close at disneyland!

NOTD: 6/22/11

**First of all, I fixed it! Well not really, but after I published the previous post I tried again and it worked! haha so never mind...**

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to share the nails that I have been sporting for the past week, so if you are ready, then lets get started!

My Nails! :)

So as you guys can tell, I have done a more sophisticated nail (it's still really easy!) this week!  Alright so for a base coat I have on OPI Sparrow Me The Drama from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I think this is such a pretty pink. :)

Then for the base or the main color of the spots I have OPI Need Sunglasses? Which looks like this:

I love this bright cheery yellow! I think it could just cheer up your whole day! (Unless it's so bright it hurts your eyes!)

Alright and lastly for the little detail around the spots, I have OPI Black Onyx. It is like a straight-up black so I normally don't paint my nails this solid color.

I purchased all of these from Ulta and these are $8.50. I have to purchase these by myself, with my own money, and if these are a little too expensive for you, I am positive that there are dupes that look almost exactly the same. The reason why I always go back to OPI is that I love their colors and I love their brushes and how easy it is to apply the nail polish!
